Movies & Performances

In this section I whant to share with you the things that I have done in theater and movies I have worked on and off since I left art school. Sometimes as an actor, sometimes creating and performing in videos and other times behind the scenes like painting backdrops or doing props. In this mix you'll find a bit of everything.

We founded Los Rinos as an Art Total group in 1985. We did grafitti, art installations, art shows, video, music, movies and theatre until 1993 . In 2007 we presented a video from our reapperence in Burgos the previous month after 13 years of innactivity as a group. This is the article from El País that picks up on the story. My companions Marcel.lí Antunez and Sergi Caballero have kept going on a very solid and promising art career.

In 1993 before moving to the states I did as secondary actor for a Catalan TV series called "Comte Arnau".

The friendship with Ricard Vives have brought forward some interesting collaborations, myself as an actor and Ricard as a director. From this the awarded short "Un Passeig Abans del Migdia" (2009) is prove. Here is a moment in the shooting of his short "La Charca" (2011) not yet published.

In 2010 we shot in northern Spain the movie "Finisterrae" in which I played the main character (a ghost) and as a prince in a secondary character (without sheet). In this clipping I interact with a curious deer... The movie was awarded next year with the Tiger Award as best movie in the Rotterdam International Film Festival 2011.

As Beuys for the movie "La Distáncia" ( Sergi Caballero, 2012 ). This footage was latter dismissed due to changes in the script.

In may 2016 I conceived a little skit to attract visually on the issue of the kidnapping of the kid Panchen Lama, in my opinion a world outrage. During the annual march from Casa del Tibet I designed and directed this dramatization performed may 17th in Barcelona. This video is a result of the performance.
